Workshops

I run a limited number of day workshops in Somerset and Devon each year. If you are interested in attending a session in 2026 please sign up to my newsletter to be the first to receive information. The price per day is approximately ÂŁ160 and places are limited to eight per class. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided.

Translating with Paint

With over 20 years of experience, I create as a direct response to location and sensation - from the calming Somerset countryside to the dramatic and dynamic Devon coastline. I use colour relationships to build compositions and convey mood. My paintings are full of atmosphere, balancing abstraction with figuration and using my paint as a visual language balancing structure and spontaneity . I work primarily in oils and acrylics, always aiming to convey a strong sense of place and emotion.
